Our Story:

Our Story:

On July 4th, 1997, a gathering of friends initiated a meaningful journey by engaging in a spirited game of wiffleball in a backyard. A transformative idea emerged—a suggestion to take part in the AVON Walk for Breast Cancer in honor of Mary Fay Hogan. What began as a casual proposition evolved into a noble cause. In 2013, the inception of Lilla’s Wiffleball Tournament, dedicated to the memory of Mary Fay Hogan, marked a pivotal moment. This inaugural event successfully garnered $3500.00 in funds, all of which were directed to support the AVON Breast Cancer Walk.

As our commitment deepened, we expanded our efforts. The introduction of a Golf Outing on July 29th, 2016, and the establishment of an annual social mixer on June 1st, 2018, exemplify our dedication to raising funds for those affected by breast cancer in our local community. Over the years, we have been privileged to directly contribute to the well-being of seven women impacted by breast cancer, fostering tangible support within our community.

Our mission persists, resonating with a commitment to continuous support for those battling breast cancer. Through collaborative efforts and unwavering dedication, we aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of individuals facing the challenges of this formidable disease.
